Good afternoon everyone, I hope you have all had a lovely weekend especially if the changes to the lock down have enable you to see more of your loved ones & friends – what a blessing that is. Maybe you’ve been for a walk together or simply gathered in your gardens, perhaps even had a BBQ together as some of our neighbours have managed with their families. I know it must be so hard for some of you with grandchildren, to be able to see them but not hold or hug them, but to watch them play, dance, run around, just wow, you how must have missed that. I pray for you thew hugs will come soon enough.

For those of you that cannot see others yet whether it be your shielding, your loved ones are working or not living close enough to you or as one lady I’ve spoken to this week who’s son is ill so she cannot see him yet, its so incredibly hard I know & nothing I can say would make it any easier for you, for me I always try to think of those that are in a far worse position than myself. However there are good days & bad & its an emotional roller coaster for everyone. On the bad days allow yourselves to cry, scream, shout, your neighbours might think you’ve gone crazy but just blame that new TV program your watching!! On the good days laugh, smile & laugh some more till your face hurts.

Whichever group you fall into lets think of it all like its a marathon & we are on the home straight now, with a lot of luck & prayer the finish line is in sight. There will be a recovery period where we will still need to make adjustments & changes but the hardest part we pray will be over.

Well enough from me this week, other members of our team have been writing to you all so the rest of this week email is given over to them – enjoy their notes to you:

Hello everyone, I hope your all keeping safe & well & enjoying this lovely sunshine. I am looking forward to seeing each & everyone of my lovely clients for a catch up & to fix those manes. But for now just enjoy your time with your family & keep smiling Angie xx

Hello to all my fabulous clients!. I hope everybody has & is continuing to stay safe & well during this time & all the jokes sent to me about reaching for the kitchen scissors (&lawnmower in one case!!!) were indeed a joke! For any clients still unaware, I’m now the proud mother of a beautiful baby boy, Jude. Mia is taking to her big sister role nicely. I’m very much looking forward to a catch up when back off my maternity, & if there’s one good thing to come out of this its that it wont feel half as long before I return to work, ha ha!!! See you all on the other side. Amy xx

Hello you hairy lot. Just checking in, making sure your all ok. You’ll all be pleased to know that I also have roots the length of a small barge! Hairdressers need hairdressers too. Remember to back away from the scissors & box dyes! Roots can be covered with a headscarf or hat & to really set it off – matching mask! (how very chic) On a serious note, please resist any urges to “tend” to your locks. I’ll be here when the madness is over. Also remember I’m a hairdresser – not a miracle worker! Until I see you again, stay safe. Ciao for now. Amanda xx

Hi guys, I hope everyone has kept well & all of your families are safe & well also. I cant wait to hear all your lock down stories & experiences & I’ve really missed all of your lovely faces, so it will be great to see you all again – even if it is through a mask!! (of course we still have a duty to keep each other safe) So, we have moved into summer through all of this, so for all my nail clients get ready for all the glitter & bright colors to brighten your days – I’m coming for you :)) & for everyone else, I cant wait to pamper you & make you look & feel great. I honestly miss everyone & I can’t wait to see you all. Till then, stay safe & I will see you very soon I’m sure. Love Chrissy xx

Hello, well I knew Lynn could talk but heck she can write for ever too, these emails she been sending have got longer & longer! Thanks everyone for the baking suggestions, Ellie & I did a lemon curd Swiss role by face time this last week, another successful calorie laden, fattening one everyone said. And thanks to Gayle for the supply of the rhubarb, the crumble I would say has been one of the biggest hits. I’ve been in the salon painting, cleaning everything up, catching up on jobs but mostly in staff areas so over the next couple of weeks now to get to the salon itself. We are all looking forward to getting back into the salon to chat & have a laugh with you all, putting everything in the world right, moaning about the things we don’t like!! I’m relieved now too that the golf courses are back open, great to be getting out & able to play, hopefully if the weather continues we will have a good few months of play ahead. So hopefully see you all in a few weeks, hope your all safe & well & taking care of your selves. Craig x

Till next week everyone, take care, please don’t forget to get in touch if we can help with anything. Lynn x
